Essence of the Sun arrived with a question every perfumer eventually asks hanging in the air around it: can you bottle the feeling of light itself? EOS is the answer, or at least one attempt at one. A fragrance built around that most elusive of sensations, warmth without heat, radiance without a literal source. The composition reaches for it through a solar accord, a modern perfumery construction designed to simulate the experience of standing in bright afternoon. It is generous and radiant, the kind of scent that seems to glow from within rather than project outward. The fragrance opens with a crisp brightness, bergamot and coriander seed catching the light in quick, cool flashes.

Jasmine sambac arrives heavy and indolic, lifting the tiare flower with it like a tide pulling in warm petals.
