Musk Sami arrived in 2023 from HeavenDuft, an independent Indian perfume house working outside the country’s mainstream fragrance industry. The name carries weight in its second half: 'Sami,' a word that suggests elevation, rarity, something set apart from the everyday. HeavenDuft builds its fragrances as extraits, and the composition here reads like a deliberate study in contrast. Citrus opens the show, sharp and bright, with no warmth in sight to soften the edges.
