The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Kiss Me Now arrived in 2022. Gabriela Maldonado built this fragrance with intention, starting with the name as the foundation for the creative brief. The name came first, the challenge, the permission slip. Everything else followed from there. Red fruits and cherry open with bright, tart sweetness that feels immediate and electric. Then the florals arrive to soften the edges, blending with the fruit notes until the composition feels complete and fully formed. By the time you think about reapplying, the fragrance has already settled into its full character on your skin.
The note structure tells the story without words. Tart cherry and passion fruit hit first, quick, electric, an opening that feels vibrant and alive. Peony and jasmine arrive next, layering their sweetness over the fruit and creating a more complex aromatic profile. The cotton candy base emerges as the fragrance develops, blending with the florals and fruit to create a confectionary drydown that feels cohesive. The sweetness doesn't overpower the other notes but instead integrates with them, creating a balanced composition that works together on skin.
The evolution
Kiss Me Now opens like a bright, tart burst, cherry and red apple hit the skin with an immediate sweetness that feels almost electric. Passion fruit adds an acidic counterpoint, keeping the opening from tipping into syrupy. Within minutes, the florals take over. Peony and jasmine arrive like a soft hand on a warm shoulder, their sweetness blending with the lingering fruit until you can't quite tell where one ends and the other begins. Water lily adds a cool, almost aquatic undertone that keeps the heart from getting too heavy. As the fragrance moves forward, cotton candy rises, becoming a prominent part of the composition. Musk wraps around it, warm and close, while sandalwood and cedar add just enough structure to keep the whole thing from floating away. The cotton candy lingers, close to the skin, the kind of sweetness that makes people lean in rather than step back.
Cultural impact
Kiss Me Now fits squarely into Eudora's playful, fruity portfolio. The cotton candy drydown is a distinctive choice, a note that makes this fragrance stand out from more conventional options. It's sweet, confident, and unapologetic about it.
