The beginning
Лесная Малина и Душица. Wild Raspberries and Oregano. Само название рисует российскую лесную поляну, лесная малина это дикая малина, душица это дикий орегано, который растёт на опушках. Brocard выстроил этот аромат вокруг определённого момента: паузы на летней прогулке, когда вы выходите из глубокой тени на залитый солнцем участок, и воздух вокруг вас меняется. Яркие ягоды. Прохладная вода. Зелёные травы. Всё, что предлагает лес, собрано в одном вздохе. Анжелина Лепорини работала с этим образом, переводя прогулку по лесу в нечто, что можно носить на себе. Целью была не медленно раскрывающийся аромат, а тот, что открывается как порог в мир леса. Малина как первое впечатление, да. Но также минеральная прохлада родниковой воды, зелёный подъём трав, тихая глубина мха под ногами.
The tension in Wild Raspberries and Oregano is the tension between hot and cold. Sun-warmed berries and ice-cold water. The perfumer's challenge was making both sensations read as true at the same time. Raspberry had to feel sun-warmed, not synthetic. The aquatic notes had to read as mineral spring water, not pool chlorine. Violet and rose hip provide the quiet floral middle, powdery, delicate, a pause in the walk. Oakmoss and caramel handle the ground. Earthy and warm. Late-summer forest floor. The result is a fragrance that smells like the moment between shade and sunlight, cool and warm overlapping, sweet and green at once. Not one or the other. Both.
The evolution
The opening hits fast. Wild raspberry arrives bright and immediate, almost tart, followed by the chill of aquatic notes, spring water over cold stone. There's a green, wild quality to the top that feels like the first step into the forest. Give it an hour and the heart emerges. Rose hip and violet open quietly, a powdery floral pause that softens the initial brightness. This is the clearing in the middle of the walk, the moment to stop and look up. The drydown is where oakmoss takes over, earthy and deep, with caramel arriving late to add warmth without sweetness. Musk keeps everything close to the skin. The sillage stays moderate throughout, present without announcing itself. Lasts 4-6 hours depending on skin chemistry, with the base notes lingering longest as a quiet skin-warm trail.
