The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Dueto was created by perfumer Jéssica Sofiatti and launched in 2026. Its central idea is a meeting between two expressions of Brazilian freshness: caipirinha and yerba mate. The first brings citrus, brightness, and a lively social gesture. The second adds green, aromatic character and a slower sense of ease. Together, they give Dueto a shape built around contrast, with the energy of a shared toast and the calm of an afternoon that doesn't need a plan. The opening's eucalyptus, bergamot, orange, and green notes make the air feel immediate. Then caipirinha, mate, ginger, and white flowers move the composition toward something more aromatic and lightly floral, while the base keeps it grounded.
What makes Dueto interesting is the conversation between a sparkling Brazilian drink and a more understated herbal ritual. Caipirinha suggests lime, brightness, and sociability. Mate brings green depth and the feeling of a shared pause. Ginger adds clean heat, keeping the citrus from becoming simple. White flowers soften the middle without erasing that herbal edge. Ambroxan, tonka bean, musk, and oakmoss give the composition a longer foundation beneath the bright opening. Together, the notes create a fresh trajectory with enough depth to remain expressive as the fragrance settles.
The evolution
Dueto begins with a crisp, green impression. Eucalyptus gives the opening a cool, aromatic edge, while bergamot and orange bring light and citrus shine. That first impression feels immediate, like citrus and greenery caught in the same breeze. The heart expands with caipirinha, mate, ginger, and white flowers. Ginger adds a small lift of heat; mate makes the center greener; white flowers introduce a lightly floral layer that moves alongside the herbal notes. As the fragrance settles, the bright citrus recedes and the base becomes more present. Ambroxan gives a clean, warm modernity, tonka bean adds a soft sweetness, musk settles close to skin, and oakmoss leaves a dry, earthy trace. The result is a fragrance that moves from lively to grounded, with a clear opening and a more developed drydown.
Cultural impact
Brasco presents a fragrance context that connects perfume with Brazilian creative references. Dueto fits that context through its idea of freshness, pairing familiar social rituals with a more contemplative herbal note. Caipirinha suggests lime, brightness, and sociability, while mate contributes green depth and a slower sense of ease. Together, they create a fragrance built around contrast: lively at first, then calmer as the composition develops. Ginger and white flowers add warmth and floral softness to the middle, while ambroxan, tonka bean, musk, and oakmoss provide a deeper foundation.
