The brand worked with perfumer Gaël Montero to shape a fragrance that opens with bright orchard fruit but moves quickly into deeper, resinous territory. Boom Blue reads as a confident, high-impact composition, the kind of scent built around presence and projection rather than subtlety, carrying an attitude that comes through in every phase of the wear. The fragrance follows a fruit-and-amber construction that punches well above its comfort zone, treating sweet and earthy elements as partners rather than opposites.
What separates Boom Blue from a standard fruity-amber is the cumin in the top trio. Cumin carries a savory, almost skin-warm heat that cuts through sweetness and creates an immediate tension with the pear and apple. Rather than a clean, syrupy fruit opening, the fragrance lands somewhere closer to spiced chutney, a brightness with weight. The evolution
The first 15 minutes belong to the fruit. Crisp pear and green apple read almost like biting into something fresh, but the cumin underneath starts pulling the sweetness sideways almost immediately. By the 30-minute mark, the orchard has stepped back and orange blossom takes the lead, soft and slightly honeyed, with patchouli threading dark veins through it. Labdanum warms the whole arrangement from below, which is where the amber feeling really starts. Around the 2-hour mark the fruit is barely a memory; the composition has become amber and sandalwood, warm and slightly sweet, sitting close to the skin. The drydown carries that same gentle warmth, with sandalwood's creamy softness blending into the amber's resinous glow. Each phase of the wear feels intentional, as though every note knows exactly when to step forward and when to settle back.
