Anfas released Debai as part of the Fosol collection, and the brief reads like a postcard from the Gulf filtered through an architect's drafting table. Debai takes its cue from that atmosphere and points it squarely at the Arabian Peninsula itself: bergamot and peach for the skyline shimmer, rose and saffron for the souk at dusk, oud and sandalwood for everything underneath that the postcards leave out. The composition treats its materials with a certain respect, letting each layer speak without shouting over the next. The peach lands clean and almost crunchy against the citrus, the rose carries a dusty richness that feels grounded rather than confectionery, and the saffron walks a careful line between spice and leather.

The evolution
