What makes this edition work is the chestnut. Most vanilla-forward fragrances lean into sweetness or cream without anything grounding them. Chestnut shifts the register, slightly roasted, almost buttery, with a faint mineral edge that keeps the whipped cream from becoming frosting. The sand note in the base does similar work: warm and mineral, not oceanic or synthetic. It reads like warmth rising from sunlit stone rather than beach vacation.
