The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Pour Femme arrived in 2025 from Yusuf Bhai, a Dubai-based house that sits within a regional landscape of independent perfumery. The brand's output keeps moving forward, a catalog shaped by continual release rather than decades-long refinement of a single signature. Pour Femme entered as a floral-fruity composition for women, a women's counterpart piece that carries the same energy as the rest of the house's work. The official positioning reads 'radiating elegance and passion,' but the composition underneath tells a more layered story. Pour Femme is a fragrance that leans into its fruity-floral heart with a confidence that doesn't always show up in launch copy.
The composition stacks a fruity-green opening of pear, dewberry, jasmine, violet, begonia, and green apple against a notably textured heart. Red wine, gardenia, cherry, blackcurrant, rose, magnolia, and tuberose sit in the middle layer, which is unusually crowded for a launch that positions itself as soft and intimate. That tension between the gentle official language and the dense, almost gourmand-leaning heart is what makes Pour Femme worth exploring. It promises elegance and delivers a heart with more substance, more fruit, more shadow.
The evolution
On skin, the first ten minutes are a bright fruit moment. Pear carries the most weight, green and sweet at the same time, with dewberry lending that slightly tart edge. Jasmine threads through, but stays restrained, more of a white thread woven between the fruit than a solo voice. Green apple adds a crisp snap underneath, and the violet softens the edges so nothing reads as sharp or synthetic. As the fruit recedes over the next thirty minutes, the florals take their position. Tuberose arrives creamy and warm, rose rounds out any sharpness, and the blackcurrant-green wine accord pulls the scent into something denser, almost like the last glass of something red left out a little too long. Cherry surfaces late in the heart, almost an afterthought, sweetening the wine accord without taking it over.
Cultural impact
Pour Femme entered a crowded floral-fruity category in 2025, and the note list on its own signals an intention to stand apart. The vinous heart, with red wine and cherry sitting alongside the white florals rather than the standard sugar-fruit and white-floral template, gives the composition a different center of gravity than many of its neighbors. The white florals carry weight without tipping into the dense indolic territory, and the green-fruity opening reads brighter and more textured than the typical pear-and-jasmine blueprint.
