No. III reads as one of the more deliberate compositions in the house's line, and tobacco runs through all three layers of the pyramid, from the first spray to the final whisper, which signals a careful study rather than an afterthought. Gosina lets the materials speak in their own register: marzipan and dried plum lend sweetness in the opening, a confectionary lift that surprises on first contact and lingers longer than expected. Leather and tobacco absolute carry the gravity in the base, grounding the sweeter top notes with something drier and more resinous. The whole thing holds together like a memory that refuses to fade too quickly.
What makes this composition worth pausing on is the triple appearance of tobacco across the pyramid. Tobacco opens the door as a top note, reappears as tobacco blossom in the heart alongside dried plum, and returns a third time as tobacco absolute in the foundation. It's not redundancy. The evolution
