Why it exists.
The beginning
Guaraná Senses arrived in 2012 from the perfumer Cláudio de Deus, part of O Boticário's Nativa SPA line. Here, that energy gets translated into scent language: tart açai, sun-warmed citrus, and a base warm enough to suggest skin rather than stand apart from it. The formula skips the obvious tropical-fruit route. Where most fruit-forward scents collapse into synthetic sweetness, this one builds outward. Bergamot, lemon, and blackcurrant arrive sharp and present. Freesia and jasmine soften the edges without smothering them. The drydown settles into sandalwood, vanilla, and amber that carries the fruit's brightness into something quieter, more grounded.
What sets this formula apart is restraint. The citrus and berry elements share enough DNA to read as one statement rather than a parade. The açai and blackcurrant carry similar tart-berry tones, while bergamot and lemon play supporting brightness. That overlap gives the opening coherence rather than chaos. The evolution

By the two-hour mark, sandalwood and vanilla settle in with quiet authority. The cedar adds a dry, woody edge that keeps the sweetness from cloying.
