Nobile 1942 draws from a family perfumery tradition, naming each release with Italian titles that evoke operatic and theatrical grandeur. Levante takes its name from the rising sun, that first light that pulls you from sleep into the day. Marie Duchene crafted this fragrance to capture a Mediterranean morning, bright and clean at first, warming as the sun climbs. The house maintains small-batch production, keeping these scents in the realm of considered craft rather than mass output.
The note selection reflects a specific philosophy: open clean, warm in the middle, sweet at the end. Aquatic notes and white flowers establish immediate freshness without heaviness. The woody heart provides staying power, woods that can hold their own against the marine opening. The drydown introduces sweetness as comfort, caramel and vanilla softening what came before.
