Quentin Bisch returned to the composition with one question: what if the most compelling facets of B683 were pushed further? The answer lives in the name itself. B683 Extrait is not a flanker. It's a concentrated expression that builds on the original's foundation while revealing new dimensions with each wear. The reformulation brings additional weight to familiar elements, creating something that feels both connected and distinctly its own.
The note composition is striking for how early the oud arrives, it doesn't wait for the drydown. Saffron brings a spiced quality that maintains presence throughout the structure, keeping the green apple from going sweet and the vanilla from going flat.
