The original Ambre Précieux established a benchmark for the house's approach to amber-led fragrance, and Ultime takes that foundation and pushes it further, layering balsams, resinous labdanum, and coumarin into a composition that trades delicacy for density. There's no pretense of airiness here: the formula reaches for weight, for the kind of warmth that fills a room rather than drifting through it. It's the version of the house's signature designed for wearers who want the warmth without the restraint, a fragrance that speaks in a lower register and expects you to lean in.
The choice of Peru Balsam and Tolu Balsam side by side is what sets this apart from a standard amber.
