The bitter almond keeps it grounded, adding a marzipan depth that stops the saffron from reading too hot. Within 20 minutes, the jasmine surfaces. It doesn't overtake, it threads through the cedar, warm and slightly creamy, softening the edges. The sugar note builds quietly in the background, giving everything a luminous quality. By the second hour, the ambergris enters. That's the turn. Everything shifts from bright to warm, from sharp to close.
