The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Asturi Extreme arrived in 2025 from Le Bonheur Perfumes, composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani. Its profile pairs bright citrus and pepper with lavender, rose, geranium, and a woody base. The opening is fresh and lively, with citrus notes providing brightness while cardamom and pepper introduce aromatic heat. As the scent develops, the floral notes become more apparent, balancing the spice with lavender, rose, and geranium. Beneath them, vetiver, patchouli, ambroxan, woody notes, and vanilla create a warm foundation. The composition moves from a crisp opening into a softer floral center before settling into dry woods, patchouli, and amber-like depth.
The unusual part is the handoff between citrus and spice, then flowers, then dry wood. Cardamom and two kinds of pepper bring a lively heat without making the opening feel heavy. Lavender and geranium temper that heat with their herbal and floral character, while rose adds a soft floral edge. Underneath, vetiver, patchouli, ambroxan, woody notes, and vanilla give the whole composition a warm floor. The citrus gradually gives way to the floral heart, and the pepper remains present as a lightly spiced accent before the dry woods take prominence.
The evolution
The first impression is bright and brisk: orange, mandarin, lemon, cardamom, pink pepper, and black pepper arrive with a clean, sparkling lift. That brightness doesn't vanish so much as make room. Lavender, rose, and geranium introduce a more composed floral middle, with pepper still present at the edges and the citrus moving from sharp to softened. As the fragrance dries, vetiver and woody notes pull the composition downward into a dry, earthy warmth. Patchouli adds depth, ambroxan gives the drydown a clean mineral edge, and vanilla contributes a light sweetness that blends with the surrounding woods rather than standing apart from them. By the later hours, the composition has shifted toward its warm base, where vetiver, patchouli, ambroxan, woody notes, and vanilla continue to define the scent.
Cultural impact
Asturi Extreme draws on a recognizable aromatic-spicy vocabulary through its combination of citrus, pepper, lavender, rose, and geranium, followed by vetiver, patchouli, ambroxan, woody notes, and vanilla. The citrus opening gives the composition brightness, while lavender and geranium introduce a more herbal floral character. Pepper continues through the middle, linking the fresh notes with the warmer base. As the fragrance dries, vetiver and patchouli bring earthy depth, ambroxan adds a clean mineral quality, and vanilla provides a gentle sweetness.
