The beginning
Vert insight emerged from Incarna's 2017-born Russian atelier, a place where artistic concepts are given scent. In 2018 perfumer Natalia Vitkovskaya set out to capture the idea of a fresh, verdant perspective, vert meaning green, filtered through a personal lens. The name suggests a glimpse into a way of seeing that is sharp, unfiltered, and rooted in nature's immediate vitality. The brief was rooted in capturing immediacy, in translating the sensation of a sudden green view into fragrance form.
The note philosophy behind Vert insight treats green not as a single ingredient but as a point of view maintained across all phases. Sea Buckthorn and Blackcurrant anchor the opening with tart-fruity brightness, while the Sweet Pea provides an early floral bridge that prepares the way for deeper heart florals. The Mimosa and Frangipani pairing is deliberate, combining the honeyed warmth of one with the tropical creaminess of the other to create a heart that feels sunlit without becoming saccharine.
The evolution
The scent opens with Sea Buckthorn and Blackcurrant, a tart-berry pairing that arrives immediately and with intention, cutting bright and herbal. Sweet Pea threads in quietly, lending its powdery floral delicacy to soften the entry without dulling the sharpness. As the top notes soften, Mimosa blooms as the first heart contributor, offering honeyed yellow florality, followed swiftly by Frangipani's tropical creamy petals expanding the floral warmth.
