Why it exists.
The beginning
Kiri arrived in 2025 as FreeShape Milano's new fruity-floral creation. The source material offers no confirmed perfumer, no personal story of authorship, and no documented meaning behind the name. What it does give is a clear point of view: fruit opened with vivid generosity, then brought down to earth by amber, violet, patchouli, mossy notes, and a warm vanilla base. The opening pours forward with a ripe, almost edible quality, layering blackcurrant and cherry against the brighter lift of orange and pear. That generous fruit feels cushioned rather than sharp, cushioned by the soft violet powder and the gentle hum of jasmine beneath. The whole thing reads as generous and modern, a scent built to invite rather than intimidate.
The unusual part isn't the fruit. It's what happens after the sweetness. Blackcurrant, cherry, orange, pear, and raspberry arrive as a bright, almost confection-like opening, but the composition shifts ground as it develops. Jasmine and violet soften the center, while amber and patchouli add darker contours. Cashmere wood, mossy notes, and vanilla ultimately turn that juicy brightness into something warmer, more tactile, and closer to the skin.
