When the snow retreats, evening primrose and evening star lilies release scent into air still sharp with cold, blooming at night in early spring as the region reawakens. Caswell-Massey partnered with Yellowstone to bottle that precise window. The 2019 release draws on living floral captures taken near Mammoth Hot Springs, bottling the scent of those fleeting blooms. The house has been translating specific times and places into fragrance since 1752. This one needed no embellishment. The landscape already had a voice.
Most green fragrances pull from familiar territory, but Mammoth goes somewhere stranger.
