Terraviva arrives in 2024 as part of Agatho Parfum's Mytho Collection. The composition reads as a portrait of fertile ground meeting sunlit warmth, a study in contrast that plays the delicacy of white florals against the depth of dark, resinous materials. Orange tree and orange blossom set a bright opening, their slight greenness suggesting leaves still cool from morning shade. The heart then opens into green currant, jasmine, and rose, each note adding a different kind of texture: the currant tart and almost metallic, the jasmine creamy and indolic, the rose lending a soft, slightly powdery facet. Beneath them runs an unusually grounded base of ebony, oud, vanilla, and vetiver, materials that pull the composition downward and give it weight.
The tension between the citrus-floral opening and the dark, resinous foundation gives Terraviva its particular character.
