The 4711 Remix line channels a different energy from the house's centuries-old citrus heritage. Vibrant Night is built for the night that runs past its natural end. Perfumer Carmita Magalhães designed it around the feeling of a summer evening that refuses to wrap up: warm air, electric sky, and the moment between the sun going down and the city quieting. The fruity opening captures that restless first spark, the florals arrive like heat held in the air itself, and the praline drydown is what lingers when you finally head home.
Coconut is the quiet star here, threading through the heart into the base and giving the white florals something to lean against beyond soap or cream. Tuberose often dominates, but the coconut tames its indolic edge and turns it into something fuller, rounder. The praline and vanilla in the base don't compete with the florals, they build on them, adding warmth that extends the wear well past what you'd expect from this house.
The evolution
The opening hits fast: blackcurrant, mandarin, and raspberry arrive in quick succession, a bright tart-sweet burst that lasts about 20 minutes before the florals begin to take over. Jasmine and tuberose emerge around the 30-minute mark, softened immediately by coconut cream. By the second hour, the coconut has become the dominant note, sweet and lactonic, holding the florals close to the skin. The drydown arrives around hour four: praline and vanilla warm up, sandalwood adds a quiet woody depth, and the coconut settles into something almost nutty. On fabric, this lingers into the next day.
