The beginning
Legno di Ebano e Ginseng arrived in 2025 as part of Tesori d'Oriente's ongoing project. The name means ebony wood and ginseng, two materials rooted in Eastern wellness traditions. Ginseng brings a crisp, slightly metallic freshness to the opening, a clean brightness that cuts through the composition with surprising clarity. Ebony wood, with its deep and enveloping character, anchors the base with warmth and weight. The interplay between these two elements creates a fragrance that balances freshness with depth, herbal clarity with woody richness. Cedar rounds out the woody structure, while frankincense adds a subtle smoky lift that keeps the blend from becoming too heavy. Vanilla in the dry-down provides a gentle sweetness that extends the warmth without overwhelming the composition.
