The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Attitude Golf is part of Pascal Morabito's Sport collection, the brand's athletic range that places its fragrances inside active, outdoor moments. The house has long built scent around personal rituals and specific environments, treating each release as a response to a particular context. Golf offered exactly that kind of context, a sport built on stillness, repetition, and the slow rhythm of a long day. The composition takes those qualities and translates them into something wearable, a cologne that moves with the pace of the course rather than the pace of a boardroom. It carries the greenness of fairways and the resinous calm of a clubhouse at midday, all filtered through the clean, structured architecture that defines a classic aromatic fougère.
The composition stays inside the aromatic fougère family, the same broad category that has anchored masculine colognes for over a century. Coriander and lavender open with that cool, slightly bitter edge, the kind of crisp aromatic hit that defines a traditional eau de toilette. The coriander reads almost peppery, threading green herbal warmth into the lavender's cleaner, more floral coolness, and the two together create an opening that feels both sharp and rounded.
The evolution
The opening is brisk, almost bracing. Lemon zest and lavender carry the first 20 minutes with coriander threading through, herbal and citrus at once, the scent equivalent of stepping onto dewy grass. The lemon gives it a clean acidic brightness that lifts the lavender instead of letting it sit flat, and the coriander's peppery green adds a third layer, a kind of aromatic snap that keeps the whole opening moving. By the 45-minute mark, the citrus has softened and jasmine arrives alongside rosemary. The jasmine stays restrained, more suggestion than bloom, a quiet white floral accent that adds depth without ever tipping into indolic territory. Meanwhile rosemary adds that clean, almost camphorated edge that keeps the heart from going sweet, its herbal sharpness slicing through any tendency toward softness. Vetiver shows up gradually, picking up weight as the top notes retire.
Cultural impact
Attitude Golf sits in a specific niche, the sport-fragrance category, where it's positioned for the active, outdoor-leaning wearer rather than the formal evening crowd. It's a cologne built for motion and weather, for days that start early and stretch long, the kind of fragrance that earns its place in a gym bag or a weekend tote. The aromatic fougère structure puts it in conversation with a long tradition of masculine colognes, the kind of scents that have always lived closer to the locker room than the dance floor.
