The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Chai Crema Latte grew out of Mykonos's collaboration with Indonesian beauty and perfume influencer Revania Shabika Amany Kitzing, known online as Sapeyeeee, part of the brand's Mykonos x Sapeyeeee collection released in 2025. The brief reads almost edible on paper: cinnamon, cardamom, and gingerbread at the top, folded with roasted coffee, then a milky heart of tea, hazelnut, and caramel. Each note lands in sequence like a barista building a drink layer by layer, the spice oils warming up first before the darker roast notes arrive underneath. As the composition settles, the tea softens the edges of the coffee while hazelnut adds a buttery richness that keeps the sweetness from tipping into syrup.
What makes the composition land is the doubling of milk. It appears in both the heart and the base, which gives the fragrance a single sustained creaminess rather than a one-note sweetness at the center. The hazelnut does quiet structural work too, tempering the caramel so the sweetness never tips into cloying. This is gourmand architecture done with restraint, built to comfort rather than to shout.
The evolution
The first thirty minutes are spiced and confident. Gingerbread and cinnamon lead, with cardamom fanning outward and coffee grounding the mix in something roasted. It smells less like perfume and more like the air above a baking tray, except the tray is on your wrist. Around the ninety-minute mark, the spices soften and the heart opens: hazelnut pushes forward first, then caramel and tea arrive together, and the milk note lifts the whole thing into something that reads almost edible. By the third hour, the latte impression has settled into the first noticeable sugar on the skin. The drydown is where this earns its quiet reputation. Tonka bean and vanilla take over, but the musk beneath them keeps it grounded, so the sweetness stays on skin rather than floating into the air. Six hours in, what remains is a soft, milky-vanilla warmth, the kind of scent you catch on a scarf the next day and only then remember is yours. It does not project far, which is the point.
Cultural impact
As part of the Mykonos x Sapeyeeee collaboration with Indonesian influencer Revania Shabika Amany Kitzing, Chai Crema Latte represents what happens when a fragrance house and a content creator with a devoted audience build a scent together from the ground up. The gourmand direction of the composition places it firmly in a category that has been drawing wearers who reach for warmth and sweetness over sharper, more projected accords. The cinnamon, cardamom, and gingerbread at the top read like a kitchen in the early morning, while the roasted coffee underneath grounds the spice with something darker and more roasted.
