Lú Minerva prioritizes the interplay between fruity top notes and a floral heart grounded in osmanthus and gardenia, two materials that Italian perfumery has long favored for their ability to convey both warmth and sophistication. The drydown leverages oakmoss and honey to create a warm base that pairs naturally with leather accents, echoing the refined sensibility of Italian craftsmanship. Di Loreto selected each material not for novelty but for its contribution to a coherent narrative, one that moves from playful brightness through romantic depth to a quietly authoritative close.

The evolution

The fragrance opens with plum and wild berries, their tart-sweet character immediately setting a lively tone. Ylang-ylang and peach soften the edges, adding tropical creaminess to the fruity brightness. As the top notes fade over the first fifteen minutes, violet and rose emerge alongside jasmine, building a romantic, powdery heart where gardenia adds its signature lushness. Patchouli keeps the florals grounded, preventing the composition from becoming delicate. The drydown arrives with oakmoss providing classic depth, while honey and vanilla create a warm amber embrace.
