Why it exists.
The beginning
Exotic Jasmine landed in 2013 as part of Halle Berry's growing fragrance portfolio. The line grew steadily through the early 2010s, with each release adding a different facet to the collection. Exotic Jasmine continued that thread, leaning into white floral territory with a jasmine-led heart that puts the blossom front and center rather than tucking it behind fruit or spice. The composition reads as confident in its single-mindedness: jasmine sambac anchors the heart, frangipani rounds it out with creamy warmth, and the supporting cast of neroli, violet leaf, cyclamen, cedar, vetiver, and musk gives the floral space to breathe without competing with it.
What sets Exotic Jasmine apart structurally is the balance between cool, almost aquatic top notes and the warmer tropical florals underneath.
