The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Seraphina arrived in 2025 as part of the Titan Set for Her duo, paired with its sister scent Titania in Gissah's Signature Collection. The composition reads as the softer, more intimate volume of that pair, leaning into a creamier, more tropical register that feels warmer and more grounded than sharper floral releases in the wider market. The name carries the weight of angelic mythology, but the juice itself aims somewhere closer to earth: warm, floral, gently sweet, and built around a heart of gardenia, jasmine, and coconut that settles over a base of vanilla and musk.
What sets Seraphina apart from the standard gourmand-floral crowd is how the white florals are handled. Gardenia brings its creamy, almost waxy density, jasmine adds the indolic edge that keeps it from feeling synthetic, and coconut gives the whole heart a tropical softness without veering into piña colada territory. The pink pepper and mandarin opening adds a bright, citrus-touched lift, a quick shimmer before the cream settles in and takes its place.
The evolution
On skin, Seraphina opens with a bright lift from pink pepper and mandarin, citrus-touched and slightly sharp, the kind of introduction that announces itself before quickly making room for what's underneath. Gardenia arrives first, lush and almost waxy, then jasmine unfolds beneath it, bringing warmth and a soft indolic hum that gives the heart its depth. Coconut threads through the middle without ever becoming literal, more like the memory of sun oil than a beach drink, lending the florals a tropical roundness that softens every edge. As the composition settles, vanilla begins its slow rise from the base, pulling the white florals into something warmer and more golden, a quiet transition that rewards patience.
Cultural impact
Seraphina stakes out a particular territory within the white floral gourmand category, one where jasmine's warmth meets coconut's cream and vanilla's softness without leaning too heavily into either pure sweetness or pure floral territory. The composition reads as effortless rather than constructed, a quiet sophistication that doesn't need to announce itself to make its presence felt. Gardenia and jasmine do the heavy lifting in the heart, their indolic warmth wrapped in coconut's tropical roundness, while the vanilla and musk base keeps everything grounded and personal.
