The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Gissah means "story" in Arabic. This brand is built around the idea that every fragrance is a chapter in your ongoing personal collection. Each scent is designed to be a piece of autobiography, not a signature. For collectors who treat their fragrance wardrobe as a story they are still writing.
Sava launched in 2021, this was the opening move. A fruity gourmand that signaled where the house was headed before anyone knew the name. Red berries, praline, vanilla. Not a safe entry. Not a quiet one either. The naming stayed restrained, but the scent itself refused to be. Bold and confident, built for someone who wears it on purpose.
The evolution
Sava's heart is where it gets interesting. Praline and cinnamon don't just coexist, they amplify each other, creating a dense, almost edible sweetness that feels intentional rather than accidental. The orris root keeps it from becoming saccharine, adding a powdery elegance that elevates the whole composition. By the time you reach the drydown, the opening brightness has long faded. Vanilla and sandalwood take over, wrapping close to the skin in a way that feels intimate rather than announced. Sillage drops noticeably after the first hour, becoming something you'd only notice if you're standing close. On fabric, it lingers as a faint trace the next day, a warm, sweet impression that proves the longevity claims aren't exaggerated.
