The evolution

The opening minute belongs to saffron, vivid and assertive, with pink pepper adding a subtle electric crackle that lifts the composition into something almost crystalline. There's a clarity here, a cold air quality that feels precise and intentional. As this initial burst begins to settle, plum enters the picture and the entire scent shifts. It becomes softer, riper, the sweetness now layered with a depth that tempers the earlier sharpness. Rose and tuberose arrive shortly after, their white floral richness threading through the heart and balancing the fruity sweetness with something creamier and more velvety. By the second hour, leather begins to emerge from beneath the florals, but it reads worn and warm rather than sharp or harsh. The oud and vanilla settle deeper into the drydown, creating a base that lingers close to the skin with above-average staying power.
