Founded by three outsiders in 2013, the house operates from a philosophy of radical creative freedom, meaning perfumers receive no compromises and no safety nets. When tasked with intensifying Blue Talisman's original Eau de Parfum, Fernández approached the brief as an architect, seeking deeper emotional resonance without eroding the architectural clarity that defined its predecessor.
The choice of orange blossom and jasmine as the heart notes reflects a deliberate attempt to capture elegance with edge. These are not shy florals; they carry presence and depth. Paired with the woody warmth of sandalwood and amberwood in the base, the composition achieves a balance between intimacy and projection, making it versatile across occasions. The addition of vanilla in the drydown softens the structural bones without making the fragrance sweet, ensuring it remains sophisticated rather than saccharine.
