Nitro Green

The evolution

The first hour is all citrus, lemon, bergamot, grapefruit, mandarin, all bright and competing for attention without any of them winning. There's sweetness here but it's kept in check by the galbanum arriving around the 20-minute mark, adding a green cut that prevents the opening from becoming cloying. By hour two, the jasmine and petitgrain have settled in, the pink pepper warming the heart slightly, and the composition reads as clean rather than sweet.
