The company's origin traces to Dubai's trading sector, where founder Alaa Taher Jaber Al Jaber established Kinda Trading Company LLC in 2013. His background encompasses 25 years within the Middle Eastern perfume industry, providing the expertise to build what would eventually become the Dumont brand. The evolution from trading company to perfume manufacturer marked a deliberate pivot toward vertical integration, culminating in the establishment of proprietary production capabilities at a dedicated factory in Dubai Investment Park 2. This transition enabled the company to move beyond distribution of French fragrances toward developing and producing its own scent compositions. The Dumont Paris identity, reflected in branding at 231 rue Saint Honore in Paris, positions the company at the intersection of Middle Eastern market knowledge and French perfumery traditions.
