The evolution

The evolution is where Tudor Rose earns its name. Bergamot opens bright and citrusy, a brief moment of lightness before the roses arrive. Within minutes, Bulgarian damask rose takes over, rich and deep, followed quickly by May rose and a whisper of jasmine. Peach adds a soft, almost plush quality that keeps the roses from being too sharp. Then the base notes emerge: patchouli first, earthy and grounding, then leather and ambergris.
