What makes this work is the cedar. Three oils working together, each bringing a different dimension to the same note. One oil is dry, almost mineral in character. The evolution

The opening hits like a crack of black pepper, the sharp, almost electrifying kind that makes your eyes widen for a second before it settles. It doesn't linger long. Soon the cedar takes over, arriving with a presence that establishes itself immediately rather than easing in gradually.
