Sébastien Cresp is the perfumer behind the formula, and the Roman numeral 'I' in the name places this fragrance at the front of a new series. The opening moves with a bright, almost fizzy rush of bergamot and orange blossom, the kind of citrus that catches light rather than chasing it. Almost immediately a praline note begins to fold into the air, warm and slightly toasted, dusted with the soft, powdery edge of iris. The fragrance settles into a base of pink musk, sandalwood, and a quiet drift of vanilla, where the sweetness deepens but never tips into syrup.
