The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Ibiza Boom is Street Origins' bold entry into fragrance, launched in 2025 as part of the brand's Night Riot collection. It channels something unmistakable, a raw, sunbaked energy that pulls directly from the Balearic spirit. The brand is marketed by Fragrance World Trading LLC, and Ibiza earned the slot pulsing with salt and heat. It's not a tropical fruit cocktail. It's not a cloying summer fling. It's a fresher, spikier composition built for the hours when the sun goes down and the volume goes up. Bergamot cracks open the top with sharp citrus brightness, marine notes throw open a window to salt air, and dry woods keep everything grounded so the freshness never floats away. The opening alone tells you this isn't playing it safe.
What makes this one stand out is the tension between the notes. Marine and bergamot up top crack open bright and clean, but then black pepper and saffron cut in with a dry, smoky heat that catches you off guard. The apple adds an unexpected sweetness, green rather than candy, and that contrast is where the composition finds its edge. The base seals it: patchouli and vetiver give it that earthy backbone, while ylang-ylang brings a tropical floral whisper that ties back to the island without tipping into excess.
The evolution
First spray, and the bergamot hits bright. Sharp citrus, almost candied at the edges, buoyed by marine notes that read more sea-breeze than open ocean. The dry woods underneath keep it from smelling like a shower gel. Within the first fifteen minutes, the marine settles and the composition starts to get honest. Black pepper and saffron take over, bringing a warm spice that tingles on the skin. Apple surfaces here too, not as a crisp fruit note but more like the faint memory of something sweet lingering in the air. The transition from top to heart feels seamless, each note stepping aside at the right moment to let the next one lead. As the hours pass, the cedar and vetiver do the heavy lifting, grounded by patchouli's earthiness. The ylang-ylang sneaks in late, adding a soft tropical hum that never turns heady or overripe.
Cultural impact
Ibiza Boom appeals to the wearer who wants fresh and spicy in the same bottle, someone who thinks sunscreen-scent is too safe and wants the salt without the sweetness. The woody-aquatic structure gives it a versatility that works across settings, from warm-weather evenings to transitional seasons. It carries enough brightness for daytime wear but has the depth and spice to hold its own after dark. The composition doesn't box itself into a single occasion, it adapts to wherever the night leads. The marine-bergamot opening keeps it approachable, while the pepper-saffron heart and earthy base give it staying power.
