Why it exists.
The beginning
Blossom Me arrived in 2021 from a Rabanne house that has always treated flowers like structural elements rather than soft gestures. Marie Salamagne composed Blossom Me within that lineage, reaching for mandarin and mint to carve the edges, then letting orange blossom open into the space they cleared. The opening citrus hits sharp and chilled, a green snap that wakes the nose before the bloom arrives. Once the mandarin and mint settle, orange blossom unfurls with that particular brand of sweetness that isn't sugary, just open, warm, and almost loud in its generosity. There's a clarity to how the notes are staged, each one given room to do its work before the next takes over, which keeps the fragrance from ever feeling muddled or overly lush.
The composition is built on a small number of ingredients doing specific work, which is the Rabanne way. Musk and Ambroxan sit in the formula alongside the bloom, lending a clean warmth that softens the orange blossom's brightness without burying it. Vetiver threads through the base, adding a green bitterness that stops the florals from tipping into confection. The vetiver also keeps the sweetness in check, pulling the composition toward something drier and more grounded as the hours pass.
