Raynaud has spoken about designing the marine and solar elements to function as a single thread across the scent's life, keeping the fragrance coherent even as the heart transitions to drydown. The ambergris was chosen specifically to provide an animalic warmth that bridges the florals and the warm base notes, allowing the composition to feel cohesive rather than fragmented. His approach to the salted cream interplay is intentional, creating a fragrance that stands apart from typical tuberose-centered scents by keeping the marine dimension present throughout.

The evolution

The scent journey begins at the beach with warm tropical oils and marine salt, skin still carrying the memory of sun and sea. As time passes, tuberose takes center stage, joined by frangipani and solar notes that create a luminous garden effect, while ambergris and salt keep the florals grounded in warmth and texture rather than pure sweetness. The drydown transitions into an intimate signature of ambergris, leather, cashmeran, labdanum, and pine, where the salted cream character persists as a personal aura long after the initial application.
