Pomellato Nudo Amber Intense is part of the expanded Nudo fragrance collection, a line that takes its name from the brand's iconic jewelry series featuring colorful semi-precious stones. The fragrance translation follows a clear principle: let the dominant material speak without ornamentation around it. Perfumer Aurélien Guichard built Nudo Amber Intense around that philosophy. Amber as protagonist. Florals and musks in supporting positions. Where the original Nudo Amber stayed light and Mediterranean, the Intense version pushed deeper into warmth, layering jasmine sambac and Bulgarian rose over a base of Madagascar vanilla and Indonesian patchouli. The result leans oriental while keeping its Italian clarity, dense without losing the light.
The composition earns attention through its restraint rather than its volume. Bulgarian rose and orange blossom open with two materials that could easily overwhelm, but Guichard uses them at a strength that frames rather than floods.
