The evolution

The opening announces itself immediately. Ginger and tangerine pop against the skin, sharp and citrus-forward, before the peony slides in to soften the edges. This phase represents the brightest, most alert part of the wear. The heart phase shifts the energy entirely. Jasmine becomes the lead, supported by that fleeting red fruit note that doesn't stay long enough to fully register before the florals consolidate into something quieter and more intimate. The base is where Nuits Mauves earns its name. Patchouli arrives late, earthy and warm, and musk amplifies it into something skin-close and personal. The ginger provides a spicy kick that awakens the senses, while the tangerine adds a juicy, radiant quality that makes the opening feel effervescent and alive.
