Memórias takes its cue from the moment Inside Out 2 opens Riley's core memories to a new wave of emotions. Not nostalgia for the past, the discovery that the present is already becoming one. O Boticário's brief to their creative team called for the scent of a moment you know you'll remember later. The answer arrived quietly. Green tea and apple, a pairing that behaves like a room you know by heart. Grapefruit added a sharpness that kept it from settling too soon. Underneath, the composition unfolds with intention: bamboo as a green canopy, jasmine that doesn't overpower, cedar that stays and stays. Amber and musk close the composition like a door left on the latch. The green tea opens clean and slightly bitter, giving the top notes that morning brightness.
What makes this structure interesting is how deliberately it refuses unnecessary complexity. The fragrance builds a full pyramid: citrus, green, floral, woody, powdery, the full architecture of an adult fragrance, then uses proportion and materials to keep everything gentle and close. The green tea doesn't screech. The jasmine doesn't overwhelm. The cedar doesn't try to own the room. Each layer respects the space of the others, creating something that feels complete without being heavy.
The evolution

Memórias Divertida-Mente 2 arrived in 2024 as part of a Disney Pixar Inside Out 2 licensing partnership. The franchise's connection with families gave the fragrance a cultural context that extends beyond typical fragrance marketing. The brand approached a brief that could have defaulted to novelty and instead built something meant to be worn and enjoyed over time. The note pyramid is fuller than expected for a fragrance in this category.
