The beginning
Jacques Huclier designed A*Men Ultimate to explore mocaccino as a central note, combining coffee with creamy, lactonic warmth that brings dessert-like richness to the composition. Balsam fir serves as a counterpoint, adding coniferous freshness that keeps the overall effect from becoming purely sweet. The result feels like a different kind of coffee scent: warmer, creamier, with a woody edge that keeps it interesting. The mocaccino dominates the heart of the fragrance, supported by the aromatic quality of fir that adds depth without heaviness. The evolution
The opening announces bergamot, bright, citrusy, gone within minutes. The citrus disappears almost completely, leaving the aromatic coffee and fir to dominate the next few hours. Around the one-hour mark, the fir softens and cedar begins to emerge, dry and woody, blending with the lingering mocaccino. By the third hour, the coffee has retreated and the drydown is pure cedar and mocaccino, warm, woody, slightly sweet. The progression moves from bright citrus to warm coffee, then to aromatic complexity as fir interacts with the mocaccino, before settling into a woody finale where cedar and creamy coffee notes intertwine, creating a satisfying conclusion to the fragrance journey.

A*Men Ultimate arrived in 2019 as a limited edition, expanding the A*Men lineup with a distinctive sweet-cream mocaccino character.
