Vanilla became a recurring material in the Marcoccia collection, with iterations like Vaniglia Esotica exploring different facets of the note. Vaniglia Intensa pushes the concept further. Where some vanillas remain soft and restrained, this one arrives with more presence. The challenge with any vanilla-forward fragrance is avoiding sweetness without complexity. Marcoccia answered with caramel, molasses, and a powdery iris heart. The caramel adds rich, dark sweetness that anchors the opening. Molasses deepens that impression, giving the start a sticky, almost edible quality that could easily tip toward confection. The iris enters to redirect. Powdery and cool, it threads through the heart and prevents the sweetness from becoming overwhelming.
The note pyramid moves from vanilla at the top through the heart to the base. Caramel runs through all three phases, providing continuity.
