Falcone Dana arrived in 2023, part of the Falcone collection, a line whose name draws from the falcon itself, a bird long associated with sharp focus and controlled power. Le Falconé released it through Beauty & Perfume International Factory LLC, and Falcone Dana occupies the feminine-coded space within that broader Falcone lineup. The brief, as the house described it, was to balance strength and elegance in a single bottle, capturing a duality: bold in flight, precise in the dive. That tension between assertiveness and refinement runs through every layer of the composition, from the bright citrus-fruit opening to the deep, resinous base where amber, sandalwood, and cedar hold the structure together.
What's interesting here is the structural choice. Falcone Dana pushes the heart and base to the foreground rather than letting the top notes dominate. The fruit is brief, more of an opening statement than the main act, while the jasmine-violet-rose heart does the real work across the middle stretch, and the vanilla, amber, sandalwood, and cedar base is where the composition earns its longevity.
