The brand's fragrance legacy includes some of the most recognizable women's perfumes in modern history. When the house sought to honor its rose heritage with a new expression, they turned to Dominique Ropion, one of Grasse's most respected nez, whose technical precision and emotional intuition have shaped numerous modern classics. The brief was clear: create something that honors tradition while feeling unmistakably contemporary, drawing on the house's DNA without becoming a mere revision.
The note selection reveals a clear philosophy: rose should not stand alone but should be contextualized by elements that enhance its complexity. Bergamot provides contrast, the herbaceous notes add naturalism, and the drydown ingredients create a sensory environment where rose can feel both modern and timeless. The gourmand accord is not present to make the fragrance sweet but to add roundness and comfort.
