The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Vidushi Vijayvergiya built Dew of Life around a single conviction: that a woman can be soft without being delicate, and floral without being ornamental. The brand's own copy frames it as a fragrance for the woman whose spine is clasped with titanium and whose heart is made of steel rope, someone who knows the difference between bending and breaking. Released under ISAK, Dew of Life was designed specifically for daytime and office wear, a rare jasmine composition meant to carry the wearer through long hours without losing its composure. The fragrance leans on a quiet jasmine accord that feels less like a grand floral statement and more like a calibrated daily companion, something that sits close to the skin rather than projecting across a room.
What's interesting here is the restraint. Narcissus and jasmine at the top could easily spiral into something indolic, almost unruly under Indian sun conditions, but the choice to anchor them with cedarwood and vetiver in the heart keeps the composition vertical rather than sprawling. The cedarwood offers a dry, slightly resinous backbone that doesn't fight the florals but rather gives them something to lean against, while the vetiver pulls the entire structure earthward with its cool, rooty depth.
The evolution
Dew of Life opens with a bright narcissus-and-jasmine accord, the two florals sharing the opening stretch before the white petals begin to soften and settle. As the composition breathes, cedarwood and vetiver rise through the heart, pulling the sweetness inward and grounding the bouquet with a dry, woody spine that gives the florals somewhere to rest. The carnation-musk base settles in gradually, leaving a warm, skin-close trace that carries through the day and fades gently into a quiet, spiced trail. The whole arc feels measured rather than dramatic, built for sustained wear rather than spectacle.
Cultural impact
Dew of Life wears like a personal signature that happens to fit modern life. It offers a jasmine composition shaped for contemporary office hours and daytime wear, bringing the depth of a true floral into a context where most florals either vanish or overwhelm. The fragrance carries the kind of botanical richness that rewards attention without demanding it, sitting close enough to feel intimate yet structured enough to last through a full day. It's a jasmine for someone who wants the flower to be a constant companion rather than an occasional statement.
