Timeless Tonka arrived in 2025 from House of Thêom, a house whose identity circles back to a single ingredient. The name telegraphs the focus: tonka bean, that warm and slightly bitter cousin of vanilla, sits at the gravitational center around which everything else orbits. Rather than chase novelty, the composition leans into a familiar perfumer's instinct, the one that says warmth, spice, and resin never go out of style. The result is a deliberate exercise in atmosphere over spectacle. On skin, the tonka unfolds in layers: first a soft, coumarin-rich sweetness that recalls almond extract and dried hay, then a deeper, almost tobacco-like undertone as the hours pass.
