The composition draws its character from layered expressions of one fruit, built in such a way that each stage reveals a different facet of the same idea. Cherry liqueur opens the door with its syrupy sweetness, cherry fruit adds the raw brightness underneath, and the result is a scent that doesn't dilute its namesake into the background. Rather, it lets the cherry lead and surrounds it with a base that knows exactly how to hold the weight. The whole structure feels deliberate, confident in its simplicity, and willing to let one note carry the room without apology.

The evolution
