Why it exists.
The beginning
Louise Farina composed Eau Musquée for the Série Extrait de Cologne, a six-piece collection drawing on the house's heritage. Her grandmother, Caterina Gennari, had been among the Venetian perfumers who helped carry musk's story from East to European workshops centuries earlier. That lineage informs the work. The result is a musk-suffused cologne that stays true to the house's citrus bones, pulling the warmth underneath forward while keeping the lift that defines the Eau de Cologne tradition. Green mandarin and lime lift the top, while pink pepper adds a dry snap that keeps things bright rather than simple. As the citrus softens, a green pear note emerges, not candy-sweet but the cool, almost vegetal scent of fruit just before it ripens.
The musk here isn't a plush, skin-as-skin gesture, it's a structural element, a quiet hum beneath green mandarin, lime, and pink pepper. Pear keeps the heart from going floral.
