Avon has never positioned itself as a Parisian house, and the brand's roots sit firmly outside France, stretching back through more than a century of American beauty history. But the brief here was clear: capture the charm of a city the brand's customers already romanticize. The result is a composition designed for everyday wear, a fruity-floral that borrows Paris as a feeling rather than a fact. From the first mist, there's something easy and inviting about the way it lands on skin, a softness that feels like slipping into a favorite cardigan on a gray morning.
What makes this composition work is the tension between juicy fruit and powdery florals, a combination that reads sweet without tipping into syrup. Black raspberry and pomegranate give the opening a candied brightness that Italian mandarin orange sharpens with citrus lift.
